Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter when she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the last four seasons. The series featured her first release as a country artist, propelling her 2012 debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed into the Top Ten. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. It was released in 2021 as the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised in the area, discovered her love for country music. Later she would pursue a record career. Her first professional role was as an actress in the horror film indie Dead/Undead in 2002 when still just a teen. After a few guest appearances for All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport on NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to portray Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its last season (2012). In mid-2012, the track was featured on her first complete album Jana Kramer. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Later, she made a career of acting film and music. She starred in several films such as Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Kramer has released her second studio album Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. With help from her Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as an duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it fared even better reaching number three on country's album chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. Two months on Dancing with the Stars 23rd episode ended up with her finishing fourth. In the same year, it was It's like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser became an enormous adult contemporary success.
