Melissa Suzanne George, an Australia-born actress, and businessperson who also is an model and inventor. Melissa George began her modeling career as an actress and model in Australia. She later relocated to Hollywood. A native of the city of Perth George was initially interested in dancing and artistic roller skating. The year 1992 was the time she received the Western Australia Teenage Model Of The Year award to honor the modeling profession she had pursued. In a show on Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away, she first appeared on screen in the following year. Dark City was her debut on the large screen.
